Elevation Language Academy

Elevation Language Academy

The ELA program is an intensive English language and cultural experience for all ages and levels of English proficiency.

The goal of the ELA program is to give non-English speakers a foundation of English language skills and the confidence to communicate in any social setting!

 4 A’s of Language Acquisition

Action– Students will familiarize themselves with American culture through controlled interactions in real life settings.

Students will be assigned a conversation group made up of other students enrolled in the program.

Conversation groups will have regularly scheduled chat sessions throughout all phases of ELA.

Actions such as cultural immersion, observation, and peer interaction will help students become comfortable in their new environment.

Accommodation- Students will learn the 4 basic skills of language/communication; listening, speaking, reading and writing in a classroom setting. This will serve as a foundation for further language acquisition.

Adaptation- Students will be completely immersed in American culture through interactive experiences.

Culture and Language acquisition is the ability to communicate with REAL people in REAL life situations.

Students will socialize at the mall, restaurants, and beaches all while under the direct supervision of a language coach.

Achievement! – Students are now confident and eager to experience all America has to offer!
